ita, do you have a HEPA filter for your bedroom? Like the Ionic Breeze dealie? (Note: I am not endorsing or dissing the Ionic Breeze, as I have never used it.) It seems that a freestanding HEPA filter contraption would get dust/mites out of the air fairly well.

Just got back from my dad's for the holiday dinner. Even though I told my stepmom about the whole losing weight/dieting/exercise thing, she still gave me the humongo easter egg (with more chocolate inside of it, I'm sure) she bought for each of us kids. She told me to freeze it, but Dad had already told me to accept it from her with my thanks, but then bring it into work tomorrow. I left it in the car for overnight, so I'm not tempted to crack it open. Good thing is that my cubicle is right next to the aisle's printer, so I'm just going to set up the egg right in front of the printer with a stack of napkins and let the temps go to town.
"I think it's something in your apartment causing the migraines" theory again? 'Cuz I do.
Had migraines in the last apartment too, but not of this frequency. Whatever it would be hangs out in the system for a while, because my weeklong Jamaican vacation was just as bad as being here.
The standard allergy test was all this allergist thought practical.
Watch it be an allergy to yeast or something similarly annoying.
Just, please, don't let it be gluten.

I've heard mixed reports about the efficacy of those air filters. Does anyone here have any experience with them?

So maybe not just this apartment, but much more so there.
I've been known to still react to things days after I am exposed to them.

My parents use one in their bedroom, as does my brother (they all have severe allergies), and they've had good results. I'm very allergic to cats, and when I stayed at Deb Grabien's, she had (IIRC) 13 cats, pre-hardwood floors. She had an Ionic Breeze filter in the room where I slept, and my allergies didn't bother me a bit, which I was amazed at.
never used one, but I have a friend that swears by them. She needs shots for allergies- the hepa filter in the bedroom gives her a place with some relief
I can't speak for the Ionic Breeze but Target carries other, cheaper HEPA air filtration units. We have one in our bedroom and it helps DH's seasonal allergies.
I'm not sure this has any real news value, but I sure do love the headline:

TAR: Oh, no, Uchenna & Joyce! I wonder how much money they had for this leg. It seems like if they knew it was tight, they should have tried to book a backup flight out of Frankfurt.
Also, teams should neverchoose the random task. It never works out well where it's, like, the second item tried. But they always try, and then they give up and switch to the other task. It seems like it would almost never be a good choice to switch tasks.
What else? Oh, it's stuff like this that miffs me off. No wonder the other recycler wouldn't sell; they were working through his territory.
