I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Last day at JPL. Well, that was five years. Almost six.

I got taken to lunch by all my guys, a big pot of tulips from my Russians, a beautiful card and Starbucks card from one of the supervisors, a quill pen, and my fave aspergery guy grabbed my shoulders and hummed a few bars of She's Leaving Home before getting shaky and running away.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, I am very charmed by it all, but especially Asperguy.

This. How very sweet they are!

I have 2/4 classes graded. It's taken me 5 hours to grade those 2 classes. And, I only had 1 assignment/class to grade and then compile a quarter subtotal. Yikes. Of course, those assignments were essays, so it's not as bad, right? Right?
