"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Last night's migraine resulted in me getting about 5 hours sleep, broken into 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 hour chunks. To compensate, I appropriated our office's ginormous Kinkos mug (11.4 cm tall!) and filled it to the brim.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I forgot all of my travel coffee mugs here at work, so I had to wait until I got here to have coffee, instead of ingesting en route like I usually do. The walk in was like unto the Bataan Death March, only with more swearing and an iPod.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So, who is excited about Grindhouse?

The DH is going to the first show today at a fancy surround sound theater. I, sadly, have to WORK all freaking day in an OFFICE like a CITIZEN. No, I'm not jealous at all, why do you ask?

I am making plans to corrall a friend or three and go see it at the drive-in Saturday night, as God and Robert Rodriguez intended for it to be seen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey did you know there's something called Tiki Bar TV? I've never played Bunnies before. Anybody familiar with this drinking game?

I like the Drinkbot episode. It's based on science.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I was excited about it until I started reading more reviews. Now I think I'll wait for the DVD.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

A group of women at school gave us an orchid. I've never had an orchid before, but I've always thought of them as high maintenance plants. Is it wise to give two people who are incredibly distracted by Other Things a plant that is easy to kill?

I thought so too. I have had an orchid on my desk since January 20. That's when we had a luncheon with them on the tables and I took one back. I figured it would last a week or two, then I'd go back to cut flowers on my desk. The damn thing won't die. I water it once a week with lukewarm water, and the worst that has happened is two flowers have fallen off.
