Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Does it take makeup remover to remove, Teppy?

I wash my face with Lush's Coalface, which is (for all intents and purposes) just soap, and it removes it pretty well.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Suzi, I hope that changing cublicles doesn't cause too much trouble for you.

I read this as 'changeling cubicles' and then went back up to re-read the original post... sort of fits after all.

I went to the dentist today and I have 8 cavities! I brush, I floss, I go to the dentist 4 times/year. 8 cavities in the last 4 months after years of none. Not fair.

What is even happening?

When I wore liquid eyeliner, the secret for me seemed to be all about getting as much off the applicator as possible, before bringing the applicator to my eyes, and then using the lightest touch I could. I preferred the plain old Maybelline liner with a brush applicator, because it removing excess liner fluid from the brush was easier than it is with those pen/wand thingies.

I don't like the way I look in liquid eyeliner - I think a slightly smudgy line works better for me (aside from klutziness, which makes it just about impossible for me to do). Stila is now making an eyeliner that goes on soft and can be smudged and I'm liking it a lot.

SuziQ - no way you could convince everyone that they're auditioning for The Office and that they should pretend nothing is out of the ordinary when the other guy comes back?

Seriously, sorry - it is going to stink... but it's not your fault that it stinks.

I need eyeliner lessons. I like to wear it but I don't know how to get that smudged look. GF is a pro with the liquid liner, but I prefer that smudgey, dirty, bad girl look.
