Today is the first day of my vacation!
I slept in (kind of) - apparently, that means waking up relatively early, moving to the couch and sleeping for another couple of hours. That's sleeping in for those of us with sore joints. (I think I need a new bed. . . okay I KNOW I do, but when? How?)
The mystery substance from the freezer?
We took our friend Hanzi to a Mongolian BBQ that had a sushi portion of the buffet. He got several pieces, then loaded up on the wasabi at the end. He got back to the table and proceeded to slather a piece of sushi with wasabi.
Hubby and I stared at him. "Boy, you really love that stuff, don't you."
Hanzi: "I adore guacamole" and sends it towards his mouth.
"Hanzi, wait--"
"Ahhhh!"
"--that's not guacamole!"
IE, know your foods.
Okay, raise your hand if you had to read Sean's post a number of times before you could parse "mole" as anything but the animal.

I am trying to pull together a lecture that I have to give soon and it is very dull work. The beautiful weather outside is not helping my concentration.
Oh, and I couldn't log on this morning because my password ranout yesterday and well, you get one free logon.
So, I called its, got my password reset, changed my password logged onto my webmail and I have 4 or 5 messages from ITS telling me that my password has run out. What is the point of EMAILING me that information?
