Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And maybe we could add a Teletubbies thread to TV....

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh, I totally forgot. Last night K-Bug hit another "too-grown" mildstone. She is apparently old enough to donate blood now. I don't know why that smacked me in the face as "my baby is too young for that", but it did.

move out and draw fire

Smart ass.

I have a second-ish interview for a job that I am very "meh" on and it's freaking 51 miles away.

What does that translate to in time?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Maybe we need a special Sprog F2F.

Yay! DH suggested a Buffista Baby playgroup last week. Which I would LOVE, except the dang teleporter's on the fritz again.

Trust my rage

The best part about the Buffista Baby Playgroup would be the other parents would be cool.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The Buffistas babies wearing each other's handmedowns just warms my heart. "This is my favorite dress, it came from mommy's invisible friend."

Are the monkey pants Debetesse and I found still in circulation? Our hope was they would travel from baby to baby until the end of time.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

One of the girls from juvie hall went home since I was there last time! I'm so happy for her. She was a super sweet girl who loved Harry Potter. Yay! I book talked Ibsen and it went well. They all paid attention and someone took the book to read when we were done. It made me feel all teacherly like, which was a good feeling. I'm about to head over there again for another book talk. This time I'm doing We Have Always Lived In the Castle by Shirley Jackson.

GC, that is wonderful news.

Isn't it? I hope she is able to stay home and not end up back in trouble. It's hard to know so little about these girls. I'm sure it's for the best that we don't, but they make me so curious. How did they get here? Do they regret what they did? Will they get out? When?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This time I'm doing We Have Always Lived In the Castle by Shirley Jackson.

Ooooh! Great book, and excellent for discussion. I read it on my honeymoon in New Orleans while JZ and I were sitting around drinking cocktails off our bedroom balcony.

Merricat is such an excellent protogoth.
