Oh, yeah, I think Vortex is totally right. In fact, I'd do that right now.
eta: the birthday girl, she is smart. but we already knew that.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

She kept chattering as we walked down the hall, her high heels clicking like canastas.
That's the difference between a law student and lawyer, right there.
I just read this sentence in a published book:
She kept chattering as we walked down the hall, her high heels clicking like canastas.
Happy Birthday Vortex!
Jeez Aimee, you're dealing with this much better than I could've.
Ugh Aimee, what a pain in the ass. His email is bullshit.
Happy Birthday, Vortex!
I need coffee.
Aimee, if I may suggest:
Thanks so much for you email. I hadn't realized you'd gone through so much. To be honest, it was kind of confusing to figure out from your email who owes what. To make it easier, I've rescinded the charge to you, and once you send me the final bill, I'll get a check to you immediately.

THIS, this is why Vortex rocks.
Ooooh. Awesome.
In addition to what Vortex suggests, I'd make sure he understands that the final bill you want to see isn't something he makes up, but is the bill that you two agreed to split.
Vortex, happiest of birthdays to you, you rocking woman!
Aimee, I can't even follow that guy's email. I think you should also charge him for making you read it.
Well, now that I have several cases of confirmation from ABF/UPack, I'm going to break down his email, tell him that he is contradicting what ABF/UPack told me and that he has two choices: Refund me $217.50 + $150.00 for the shipping and moving of his goods for a total of $367.50 within 24 hours or I will rescind the entire payment and he can send me a final bill that is from the moving company with his credit card statement as proof of what he has paid.
We'll see what he does.
