If you are looking for Stockings and Garters in LA check out Trashy. They aren't cheap, but they have a big selection and their stuff is well made. Kristin will probably chime in on this if she sees it.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That is good and bad news. I don't know that I really want to buy more stuff. I mean, I easily could (I am such a sucker for MAC pigments that I never wear), but I mostly just want to see how different looks look.
Okay, here's what I'll do. When I lose 10 pounds, I will reward myself with getting my face done and the related makeup purchase.

Trashy sends me their newsletter. I covet their 1940's dressing gown style robes.
I'm actually wondering how I'll stand actual fishnets without garters more than wondering where to find them.
Daisy Jane, a quick Google search turned up lots of nude fishnet garter-type stockings: [link]
Fishnets at least breath a lot better than nylons. I find fishnet non-stocking tights much more comfortable than nylon hosiery of the same form.

Oh, I was remembering having seen gartered nude fishnets at one of those sites. You should be good on that front.
Speaking of Shakespeare stuff (were we?)....
Last night I caught just part of Olivier's Hamlet, which was more than enough to determine:
Gayest. Hamlet. Ever.
Gayest. Hamlet. Ever.
Hmm, I wonder if someone could make a movie called "Gay Hamlet."
We can always talk about Shakespeare, though I misremember if I've seen the Olivier Hamlet.
I Have Blogged: [link] All about the MSP trip. Well, not all about it, but a good portion.
I don't think the gartered version will look right. I may just forgo the 'nets all together.
