Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Speaking of Shakespeare stuff (were we?)....

Last night I caught just part of Olivier's Hamlet, which was more than enough to determine:

Gayest. Hamlet. Ever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gayest. Hamlet. Ever.

Hmm, I wonder if someone could make a movie called "Gay Hamlet."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

We can always talk about Shakespeare, though I misremember if I've seen the Olivier Hamlet.

I Have Blogged: [link] All about the MSP trip. Well, not all about it, but a good portion.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I don't think the gartered version will look right. I may just forgo the 'nets all together.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Gayest. Hamlet. Ever.

And not in a good way.

I hate Olivier's Hamlet, not the least because it tainted all subsequent Hamlets for decades, even good Hamlets.

I can see that. I'm glad I saw other versions first.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Paging amych!!! Where did you recommend I purchase beginners' fencing equipment? Was it Triplette (TCA)? Or someplace else?

I'd say Absolute Fencing Gear these days - [link] . I don't think they were around when we last talked gear, but they pretty much rock for the basics end of the market. Much better quality stuff than most beginners' gear, reasonable prices, and service that acts like the stuff is coming from an actual business and not (a) someone's grandma's garage or (b) the Russian mafia.

Also, DOES THIS MEAN YOU'RE FENCING AGAIN?! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
