Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

Whoa. I spend the day away from the board and so much happens.

Lordy.

Much strength and grit and healing ~ma to your colleague and his own Raq. I'm holding a vision of both those women standing upright and whole.

Happy birthday to the birthday babies and happy anniversary to Hec and JZ. I loved seeing your reception photos and can still remember exactly what the cake looked like!

Another couple of recommendations:
Athleta Title 9
Not cheap but great selection and well worth it for such a big event! There's also another company that makes athletic gear for women that I'm blanking on the name of. It's mostly bike gear, though. My bike rider friends swear by it.

Thanks for the tips lisah. I'll check them out!

I've got so much bike gear left from those days. And I'm really, really wistful about not doing endurance cycling anymore...but I really have retired from that.

Walking may not be enough of a challenge for me, but I'm just too scared to get back on a bike. Too many falls of my own and too many serious injuries (and one death) on bikes for people I know.

Still, love the gear part of it!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I got a little sniffly at the GG finale too, especially when Luke said I just want to see you happy my allergies got really bad. And I loved Emily trying to come up with a way to keep Lorelai coming over for dinner although I didn't like the way she kept interrupting Richard when he was trying to compliment Lorelai. Given that he's not inclined to hyperbole or grand emotional pronouncements, this was big for them and I got a little misty there, too. LOVE Edward Hermann.

It really was. And Vortex, I couldn't agree with you more. I loved all those parts too.

I cried pretty much through the whole thing. Such a good ending. I loved Luke. I'm sad to see the show end, but it ended perfectly.
