I just finished a delicious piece of BBQ king salmon (wild Alaskan, natch) for lunch, but I really do need to remember, when ordering salmon at a restaurant, to ask if they're serving steaks or filets. I hate fish bones, especially when there are crispy bits of burned fish from the BBQ that feel like they might be bones.

I have a clothing size question for the buffista parents. My cousin told me her little girl is in size 18 months for the summer. When I was a the Gymboree outlet the other day I had the choice of 12-18 months or 18-24 months. I picked the larger option, but I have been second guessing myself ever since. Is it better to go with the larger or smaller size in those instances?

I always say go bigger. The kid can always grow into it.

I always go for larger, sj, on the theory that too big is more comfy than too little, even for babies. (Also, they may grow into it in time to still wear it).

I may have to look into the DKNY. I love my Athena bra from Title 9, and in general prefer sports bras to normal bras (even Wacoal).

Oh, my DH read some of my rants from a couple years ago. It was sadly not scandalous.
