Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

'The Girl in Question'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Damn, Raq. That's insane. I'm glad it sounds like they're going to recover, but damn.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Egad, Raq.

AAH! RAQ! That's messed up! I'm glad to hear both girls will recover.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

How, awful Raq. Tons of ~ma to the girls and your co-worker.

ack, Raq! (rhymage) tell him that the invisible people are pulling for his daughter and her roommate

Oh, Raq. I hope those girls have a easy, full recovery.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy shit, Raq. And both women are okay?? Wow.

I just booked a ticket home in June. My mom told me I should come visit my grandfather. My dad was apparently not informed of this wish, as he was all, "What's happening on June 14?"

This is the first time I've paid for my own ticket home. I feel vaguely adult, and less vaguely out two hundred dollars.

Of course, I don't then know if I'll be able to join the family vacation in early August or whatever. Also, one of these days I'd like to, you know, take a vacation that doesn't involve my family.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Oh, Raq, how horrible. I'm glad to hear that they're going to be ok. Tons of recovery ~ma to them, coping ~ma to them and their families and friends (and you, because even though it's comparatively small, learning a new job on your own is stressful). Oh, and lots and lots of find-who-did-it -and-catch-them ~ma to the cops.

On more cheerful topics, Happy Anniversary JZ and Hec! and continued smooth sailing for your grandfather, PC. And did I see it was megan's birthday? Happy Birthday megan!!!

move out and draw fire

It's amazing, really. They were both left for dead, but my colleague's daughter (ex-military, is what he credits) managed to crawl to the phone.

He sounded far far calmer than I would have been.

Word of advice for those of you who keep journals and cohabitate, especially if you journal about who you live with: Keep your journalling in easily-identifiable books, and not on random papers in a stack that might be read by someone who normally would not read your journal, but is sorting stuff for packing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They were both left for dead, but my colleague's daughter (ex-military, is what he credits) managed to crawl to the phone.

Wow. Just....wow.
