Yeah, my dad's chemo or something came with the same sun warning. I like the Spike Blanket approach.
Random pattern recognition: Of the 9 new hires in my group today, 6 wore french blue button-down shirts (including me). 4 were over 30. 2 were women. 3 were not white. The 2 who brought their own coffee were the 2 women.
Also, it appears that the official uniform of employees at my new company is khaki Dockers, a blue polo shirt, and a Jabra earpiece.

I'm a bit late to the discussion but I also swear by Bodyglide. I use it whenever I'm wearing my UtiliKilts.

Ivy tries to grow into the house.
My dad had some growing into his entryway when I visited last month. It's pretty, and yet I worry about what it's doing to the house. I was kind of surprised that he didn't seem terribly concerned.
I still have a severe case of going for a word and not finding it and a lot of trouble focusing
Alas, I can't blame my difficulty on chemo. No, wait, that came out wrong. Yeah, I can't blame my difficulty on chemo, but I wish I knew
what
to blame it on!

Ginger, my guess is mid 60's. I'm awful about guessing ages, but she seems at least as old as my mom.
I still have a severe case of going for a word and not finding it and a lot of trouble focusing.
Libkitty, if you find a non-chemo reason for this, let me know, cause I got it too.

Ivy tries to grow into the house.
My parents had some artsy New Mexico commune-type friends who lived in an adobe house. One wall and part of the ceiling were
covered
with ivy. Inside, I mean. It grew from a dirt planter area along the base of the wall, and the tendrils hung down from the ceiling over the couch.
Stuff of nightmares for a little kid, let me tell you.

When I was hospitalized last year with the "episodes," I told the seizure specialist that I really felt that my word-finding and focusing was getting worse. She said, "Honey, that's not seizures. That's getting older. Once you hit 30, it's all downhill from there in that department."

Something in her new meds requires that she stay out of the sun for 5 days post-treatment.
what, like she's going to burst into flame if she gets touched by the sun?
