Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Apparently we have having roller derby at K-Bug's high school on May 19th - the Bay Bombers vs the New York Heatwave. I might have to go.

Kids made nummy breakfast. DH bought me a bead organizer thing I've been lusting over...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to those who mother.

Happy Mum's Day!

Fay, that tattoo is frelling gorgeous. Good on you for being so brave.

I got sent home early today (cause it's gorgeous and we have no mom-appropriate movies). I ran errands, and later I'll do another (how did I accidentally buy the wrong yogurt?!?), but now? We flop.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We use a breadbox. Grocery store bread lasts at least a week in there, usually more, before it's stale or growing fuzz. English muffins last practically forever.

And I'm okay with eating food a fly has landed on, as long as it's not still there when I'm handed the sandwich.

[eta: I can't believe I forgot to mention Fay's gorgeous tattoo!! I absolutely love it.]

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I keep bread in the fridge. If it gets a little stale, I toast it a bit. For some strange reason I've noticed that bread gets moldy very quickly in our current place.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I don't eat bread anymore.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Man, Fay. That is one gorgeous tattoo. It's just about how you described it, with a bit more pink. :) lovely.

Pleiades, you around?

Mostly lurking...

Now these are taken with my son's cellphone after hauling crates in 90 degree Florida sun for 3 hours!

Oh, goodness! SO cute! LOVE, Laura!

Poor Hil! How’s it look today?

OMG! FAY! That is AMAZING!

Happy Mother’s Day, all!

Flies on the cheese? I'm more concerned with the meat-eating wasps fighting me for the burger. Persistant things, those wasps. We've finally had to start putting out a sacrificial piece of steak to distract them from the food we want to eat.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Fay, that tattoo is incredibly gorgeous (like you).

Happy Mother's Day to the mothers out there, and a plea -- do not turn your children into performing monkeys. If little Johnny doesn't want to sing his ABC's, that's okay. I believe that he can do it. Don't make me stand there embarassed while you say "come on Johnny (just a second, it's great) Don't you want to sing! (he really does, he's just a little shy) Sing for mommy! (no, no, he's going to do it)"

can you tell that this happened to me today? thankfully, it wasn't my niece (she's a little attention whore like her auntie, and loves to perform), but a kid from a family we know.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Aw, poor li'l non-performer.

Happy Mother's Day, moms.

IGlobalWarmingN, it's 88 degrees here today. Sign #153 that I have not completely acclimated to Minnesota: It feels good to me.
