[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Plus, she has an adorable hunsband.
Heh. 'Hunsband' sounds like a good name for your hubby if he's German....
Shut it. Did I not just say that I haven't had any coffee yet? t flounces off
sj, I'm wishing you ease~ma with all of the home angst. Can I suggest that you ditch the current real estate agent and try another one? Maybe this guy just isn't on his game?
This is actually not the real estate guy's fault. He knows we really want this place, so he has been trying to contact someone who isn't even really his client to get it for us. He really has gone above and beyond in trying to get us a place, even if he is a little scatterbrained at times. Plus, he has the nicest places on the market. We have been dealing with other agents as well as looking in the paper all along, and nothing has really panned out yet.
We're probably going to sign on the other place today so that we can give our notice today as well.
I've been reading and keeping up and sending ma~~ as needed.
Today I have no clock today . I slept late, walked down town to get coffee and bacon . still cooking bacon, plan on making pancakes - might have breakfast by noon....
Last night was another house concert - not at our house , but Matt ran sound so it was a couple of late night in a row
I just made a really good ranch dip from a Vegan Lunch Box recipe. Well, I didn't make it quite from the recipe, since I didn't have the herbs they called for, so I just threw in some stuff that I did have. The base is white beans, soy milk, and lemon juice, put through the blender. Then add some herbs (it called for dried dill, parsely, tarragon, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper -- I substituted cilantro and basil for the dill and parsely), stir, and refridgerate. Takes about five minutes, tastes good, and way healthier than dressing from a bottle. I'm having it with some baby carrots and celery sticks now.
Hil, Does it taste a lot like Ranch dressing?
I love Matilda eating her toes! Love!
Sorry about the apartment stuff sj. May you find something perfect as soon as the new lease is up.
Mr. Jane made me sick! "It's just allergies." my ass!
Hil, Does it taste a lot like Ranch dressing?
Not really, though it would taste more like it if I'd used the right herbs. The background taste is definitely beans, not mayo. (Though I'm not a big fan of mayo, so that works out.) The lemon juice + soy milk does give a bit of a buttermilk flavor, though, which is nice.
