Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Probably a stupid question, but why does a diaper service create more of an environmental impact?

I read it as being more affordable than a diaper service.

Probably a stupid question, but why does a diaper service create more of an environmental impact?

Pollution from the trucks, mostly, and industrial-sized washing machines use more water than home models.

(Truthfully, the numbers can be rigged either way -- cloth diapers use more water, disposables create more landfill waste. Personally, I fall down on the less-landfill-waste-is-good side of the equation, plus I just spent a ridiculous amount of money on a washer & dryer, so paying someone else to wash my diapers is just not going to happen.)

What brand of prefolds does Costco carry? Avoid Gerber, stick with diaper service quality prefolds.

I don't actually know -- they don't list most of their products online. We'll find out when we get there.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Speaking of cheesecake, they have this thing here called a quesito. It's a pastry filled with creamcheese and it has a sort of sweet, crunchy outside. It's probably a million calories, but very delicious.

Oh, man, we discovered those in Puerto Rico, too!!! So. Fucking. Good. It's like the result of an unholy union between a canoli and a cheese danish.

I love the tub o'cheesecake filling. For all the above listed reasons. I bought one to make into a cheesecake but it never made it to the pie shell. I still have the pieshell and I'm tempted to whip up some banana pudding into a banana cream pie.

I also need a quick & easy recipe for banana bread/muffins because I've got bananas ready to go.

Teppy, I hope you're ok. I say panic because that's what I'd do.

Trust my rage

I love FuzziBunz so much. They are pocket diapers and I did have to buy two sizes. I used the small size when Ellie was 2 weeks-6 months and the medium size from 6 months until now (she's not very big).

I could never get the bumGenius to fit Ellie right without a lot of extra fabric being in the way and I didn't like the way they looked. But, they have this great liner material that I love.

Also, I really liked the fact that the FBs wick moisture away from her skin pretty well. Probably not as well as a disposible, they still do a great job.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The FuzziBunz never fit Lillian quite right. We use them, but they're my last-in-the-bunch diapers.

I like Happy Heiny's and Swaddlebees for pockets, and we have one DryBees (large, so it doesn't quite fit her yet), and it looks to be nice. Same suedecloth as the bumGenius, fit similar to a Happy Heiny's.

In good news, I am wearing my new shoes today and they ROCK MY WORLD. Here is a glimpse of the awesometude:

Dang. I mean, the shoes are very cool but when I see a Robin link, I want to see a Robin face!

It's funny how the baby really does matter when choosing your diaper. I think I got lucky with the FuzziBunz - OTD on the first try.

Although now that I think about it, there was a phase in between the small FBs and the M FBs that we used the bumGenius a lot. I think with pocket diapers, the stuff you stuff the diaper with matters a lot. I've never used my pre-folds - they looked so bulky on Ellie - but I have switched from hemp to microfiber liners as time went by.

The ones that require a cover were always too complicated/too much work for me. That's probably because I started out with the pocket and it worked so well.

Anyway, I got tons of tips and ideas from Plei since she's tried everything.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

no pain~ma Tep! I hope it's nothing to worry about.

Love the shoes Robin.

I had more to say, but I'm hungover so the clanging in my head keeps shooing the thoughts away.

I do remember drunk-texting juliana over shots of Chartreuse though.
