Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Damn, GC, when do you have to have that all done by?

That was such a good question that I updated my list with dates. Pity me.

EEK! GC, that's a ton of work. Hang in there! You can do it! t does cheer, complete with pom-poms

UM, NO. NO SPORKING OF KRISTINT. HOWEVER IF IT WILL HELP, WE WILL SPORK WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OMGWTF!TEDIOUS WORK.

You are so very sweet, but alas, you would be sporking me anyway. I decided to use the BBC radio dramatization of Macbeth during the next few weeks as we study the play, and thus had to listen to the entire thing (just under two hours), keep track of specific line cuts, and mark time code for each act and scene. I then decided I should type up the time code for the scenes with notes on edits, and then I realized I needed to find a time math calculator online in order to calculate and record the length of each individual scene and then the overall length of each act.

I was done teaching classes today at 1:25. I just now finished with this epic task and am ded from the tedium.

I'm still at work.

I think I started around 5:30am. I don't remember.

Hugs, Suzi. I'm so sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I've been here since 7. Misery loves company? Snuggles.

Our wings are not tired

I have to move on to doing the line diagram for the system for A Little Night Music. This is a tedious task. I don't want to do it.

Today has been LONG, but so far so good with Big Boss. She is in talking and shoveling the @#&*# with the folks who have been causing the static. I'm giving her a ride to the airport when she is done - so I'll get to hear all about it then.

For now, I'm kinda marking time. I got done the deadline work and am just here. Being nice.

Herding cats for fun

You go with your bad self, SuziQ. Way for the inside scoop during the ride!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Aileann!

Heh - Emmett's doing his homework and Matilda's sitting on the floor looking at him expectantly. He's been making her laugh (just gurning and such) harder than I've ever heard her laugh.

When we were walking in from the car he was carrying her and she was happy and bouncing in his arms.

I said, "She loves her big brother."

He said, "Me love her."

I don't why it was cuter in caveman language but he was definitely sincere. Maybe caveman language is the best way to be schmoopy when you're 10.
