Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

You'll have to talk to the Art Director about that, I'm just audio and show control.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

vw, I hope things are cooling down for you. At least it sounds like you're getting things done!

I, OTOH, sat around like a lump for most of the day in my air conditioning before I finally went out and bought groceries. My long vacation is prickling on my conscience so I poked around the internets and applied for three jobs today. I figure 3-5 jobs a day and hopefully I'll have a new job within the next two months. All I can say is, thank heavens for online job applications. Saves postage, I can cut-n-paste to my heart's content and I usually get instant feedback on whether or not the application made it to who's supposed to have it. The old-fashioned send a letter and wait forever for no reply was so discouraging.

That was such a good question that I updated my list with dates. Pity me.

You are so very sweet, but alas, you would be sporking me anyway. I decided to use the BBC radio dramatization of Macbeth during the next few weeks as we study the play, and thus had to listen to the entire thing (just under two hours), keep track of specific line cuts, and mark time code for each act and scene. I then decided I should type up the time code for the scenes with notes on edits, and then I realized I needed to find a time math calculator online in order to calculate and record the length of each individual scene and then the overall length of each act.

I was done teaching classes today at 1:25. I just now finished with this epic task and am ded from the tedium.
