YAY! I made an appointment with my hairchoppah.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I get my hair cut tonight! Very exciting. I'm going to keep the angled bob, but I want her to make the angle more acute and dramatic. My hair's not dramatic right now, and I MUST LOOK MY BEST THIS WEEKEND.

Ahem. No, I'm not nervous at all. Nope.

Sadly, the haircut interferes with watching Game 1 of the Buffalo/Ottowa series. The things I do for my look....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Speaking of hair, I'm seriously considering going and visiting the girl I like (out by my parents), and having her just cut my hair REALLY short again, so it's not the pain in the ass it is right now.

I endorse this plan. But then I think you were made for short hair.

I need to get my haircut next weekend. It's crazy wild looking! But still fun.

Last cut was phenomenal.

My hair's not dramatic right now

Hair drama! It's true. The more dramatic your hair is, Juliana, the more stunning you look.

Indeed. It grew out great, too. It's only been unruly the past week or so.

I'm just gonna go and tell him to do whatever. He can do the same cut or whatever else he wants to do. Full Steam Ensassification Ahead!

Mostly lurking...

But then I think you were made for short hair.

Apparently, my hair agrees.

I finally figured out what was wrong with this cut, though. She angled too sharply, so when I pull it behind my ears it looks really funny. And, since I often pull it behind my ears, it always looks funny. Right now, I've got it pulled back in clips, which is pretty much how I've been wearing it since I got it cut. I usually only do that when it's really needing to be cut. Most frustrating.

Hops aboard the Good Ship Bitchly Ensassification. (Motto: We're very pretty, and have some Fernet!)

To tell the truth, I've been missing the spiky hair. However, I think the length and the sweep of the angled bob is the most flattering to my features.

Yeah, your features don't need a lot of help, hon. I like spikes on you because (a) less is more with you and (b) it's a bit more of the rock and roll you.

Not that the angled bob doesn't look gorgeous on you. But that's not necessarily a tribute to the angled bob. Gorgeous is your base setting.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hey, it looks like Jilli might be in a video game.

Herding cats for fun

does anyone know how brands are supposed to work?

AFAIK, those who own livestock have their own particular brand. Simple graphics like Bar-X and Horseshoe. I have read tales of brand-altering. You can burn the cow's hide again to customize your neighbor's brand into appearing as your brand. Which is unsavory and unpleasant and only a consarned horse thief type would do it. And I'm not sure if today's model of livestock identification is the plastic ear tag, or if they use that instead of or maybe in addition to the brand.

Hope that helps.

Aw. Thank you, David. I kind of need the possibility of hair in my face, but the spiky hair may still be making a comeback.

Squee! Jilli in a video game! What fun.
