She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hey, it looks like Jilli might be in a video game.

Herding cats for fun

does anyone know how brands are supposed to work?

AFAIK, those who own livestock have their own particular brand. Simple graphics like Bar-X and Horseshoe. I have read tales of brand-altering. You can burn the cow's hide again to customize your neighbor's brand into appearing as your brand. Which is unsavory and unpleasant and only a consarned horse thief type would do it. And I'm not sure if today's model of livestock identification is the plastic ear tag, or if they use that instead of or maybe in addition to the brand.

Hope that helps.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Aw. Thank you, David. I kind of need the possibility of hair in my face, but the spiky hair may still be making a comeback.

Squee! Jilli in a video game! What fun.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Joining in with the haircut-scheduled crowd. I'm going to someone new tomorrow, so I've been letting it grow to give her as much as possible to work with. As a result, my hair is shaggy, frizzing madly in the humidity, and making me want it cut short, short, short. DCistas will get a preview tomorrow evening; I'll try to get a picture so I can show off (or not if it's a disaster).

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Jilli in a video game! Awesome.

braces for hippo-birdie-esque impact

So today's my birthday, and I just got back from yummy greasy hashbrowns for lunch, because my friend K is the bestest. She also got me a bank shaped like a monkey, and monkey lights! I instantly mocked her with them.

She's moving away and I hateses her for it, but she's still pretty awesome.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think we're looking at the wrong webcomic. Jilli's the loose basis for a character in Dork Tower, not Penny Arcade.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, Katie. The registry did have something about ear notches, I'll have to look into that and the clip thing, see if that's more authoritative identification.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy birthday, Ailleann!

I have no knowledge of cow tipping.
