Okay, it is effin' hot today. Which is not helped by the heat and smoke from EVERYTHING BEING ON FIRE.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
AIMEE!
LA misses you. So we started a fire.

I see that, baby. That's no good, but roast a marshmallow for me!!
I spent over an hour trying to get Owen to go to bed. I can't say I blame him for not falling asleep because he fell asleep after we went for ice cream this afternoon and napped from 4-5. So naturally, he's not going to be sleepy at 8:30.
I gave up and handed him off to his dad. It usually only takes 15-20 minutes to do this bedtime routine. Feh.
I need to catch up on last week's Daily Show, two episodes of Veronica Mars and about five episodes of Heroes. I am a BAD, BAD TV viewer.
Whoa. Thread fell asleep early. I think it stole my snooze.
Everyone already said the sensible things about your banking situation, SA. The only thing I'd add - and it's crappy advice, because I totally don't do this myself - is that I understand internet banking is The Way Forward if you're living abroad. Any way you could cut out the paper trail?
Also - you have a hamster! Cool! Be a better Hamster Mom than me. I suck at Hamster care. (But the cat's managed 3 years and counting, so it's not all bad in the world of Fay The Petslayer.)

I have net banking, but I think they're still required to send paper statements. Or something. I will inquire.
It is very cold here this morning. Enough so that I must wear a coat. Bleck. And I want coffee. And I need to buy my ticket to NY. But is proving to be more expensive than I'd hoped. Sigh.
