I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Everyone already said the sensible things about your banking situation, SA. The only thing I'd add - and it's crappy advice, because I totally don't do this myself - is that I understand internet banking is The Way Forward if you're living abroad. Any way you could cut out the paper trail?

Also - you have a hamster! Cool! Be a better Hamster Mom than me. I suck at Hamster care. (But the cat's managed 3 years and counting, so it's not all bad in the world of Fay The Petslayer.)

I have net banking, but I think they're still required to send paper statements. Or something. I will inquire.

It is very cold here this morning. Enough so that I must wear a coat. Bleck. And I want coffee. And I need to buy my ticket to NY. But is proving to be more expensive than I'd hoped. Sigh.

COFFEE. need. more. coffee. ::blearing (v., english-ish, the act of being bleary, blinking blearily; operating large machinery not advised)::

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My alarm was set for 9 this morning. t checks clock Yep.

Gonna get mom in a few hours. Might as well plink online a bit and then see if I can grab a cat nap before I get ready to go to the airport.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Goodness! so much happening! I'm emerging (picture me blinking at the light, brain overflowing from TWO DAYS of meeting about our new database) back onto the interweb and catching up.

SA, let me echo what everyone's been telling you. Being independent is hard, but untangling yourself from your mother's issues is good. ACoA is useful for helping with that, it helped me for the time I went to their meetings. And you're young enough that you should be doing the more adventurous things you want. Go you!

Fay, wonderful pictures - glad you had fun!

askye, I love hearing about you and guy. And as long as you haven't descended to the "that'll give you, erm, bees" level, you'll do fine.

Eleventy millions times better.

Which is good. Me with bad allergy days does not make for a happy mom. Not sure how it does but it seems to trip a guilt button for her. *shrugs*

So glad today didn't start out like yesterday. Was miserable.
