Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Is it time for Shit I Didn't Say yet?

Annoying girl (over email): "We found a few articles saying it was true... that's the great thing about the interent [sic]. You could probably prove that fish fly, the sky is purple and we're all deaf just by googling something."
Me (in my head): "Yeah, but my source is the New York fucking Times, you vapid, annoying little girl."

Herding cats for fun

Once again I have missed a major freeway collapse by a matter of hours. This time I passed through the 80/880 interchange on my way home from Java's on Saturday evening. Last time, I drove my last trip on the Cypress structure two days before the Loma Prieta quake brought that baby down. And my stepmother drove over the Cypress about an hour before the quake, so our local family group felt really lucky on that one.

(pats self on back for safe trip planning skills, even if it was sheer dumb luck on my part)

KB, I'm glad you're safe.

I just cleaned out the pantry so that I won't have to do it before the move, whenever that will be. TCG is great at reorganizing the pantry, but he is bad about throwing out the old stuff. Of course, I was mostly avoiding schoolwork.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Eeek, KB!

Jessica, that's the most beautiful mouse in the history of anything. And oh, dear Lord, how much do I want a Telecalculograph? More than words can say, that's how much.

It is! Although, I just took my ADD meds, so I should probably get some work done while it is still effective. I need to call my doctor about either increasing my dose, switching to extended release, or taking it more than once a day.

So I have decided that my asthma has a greater purpose. I gave myself an attack from gardening yesterday. I want to go back outside today, but I really shouldn't. So the laundry will get done today.

I am happy to hear that your ADD meds are making a noticeable difference, sj.

Thanks, beth. They are helping, at least for a 6 hour window during the day.
