libkitty! I'm so sorry I didn't make it to today's brunch. My knee still has me laid up. Blarg.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Well, we've done breakfast, and thegarden, and the walk with the dog. Now we're going to go look at some beads! So we are having lots of fun and enjoying the day. I am clumsy and fell down and skinned my knee, but fortunately Java is prepared like a mother of 10 and fixed me up quick with water, antibiotics and kleenex. I'll have to get after her for no kiss to make it better, I think.
Have a happy, everybody!
PS - Libkitty and I have both held Matilda. We rock.
Oh, Suzi, I'm so sorry about your knee!! It would have been great to see you here. Katie Bee says that playing with your beads should make your knee all better though. I hope that works for you! Plus, what she described sounds just lovely. I hope to see some of your beadwork next time I'm in CA.
Quick, more words! We have eleven minutes worth of Internet time, and we shall use it to entertain all you who are reading here.
Um... duh... we got lemons. Lots of lemons. And the lemon bars were good, but not enough lemon, since there's probably never quite enough citrus to make me happy. So we're wondering about recipe alchemy and if the lemon bars would be too gooey if we tripled the lemon juice and threw in much, much more zest. We dunno. We might try it sometime.
I love lemony lemon bars. I think if you put in more juice and zest it might be okay. Tripling the juice might make it not set up right. I'd love the know the results of any experimenting.
ION, I'm getting ready for a dinner party thrown in honor of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands birthday. I love people who look for any excuse for a party!
eta: I'm GOING to said party, not throwing it myself. I don't have room for a dinner party in my tee-nincey apartment.
The lemon bars were still lovely. They seemed pretty dense, though, so I think they would probably still set up ok with more lemon. I'll (and I'll ask Katie and Java Cat) post the results of any expirementation. I don't know about them, but it may be a bit for me, as I bake about a couple of times a year.
With my usual grace, I have just bashed my shoulder into a door frame. Ow.
Fancy, ChiKat. That sounds like a wonderful excuse for tiaras!!
Ooh, ow Kristin.
Well, we're about out of internet for now. Adios, Bitches, from our mini-mini-F2F. Catch you on the flip side!
