Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Damn, juliana, that's gorgeous! Already it's gorgeous, when it's finished it will be even gorgeouser. The design is awesome and it accentuates your back so well - sexy and meaningful and just, you know, pretty.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I doubt it - there are enough medical whackaloons to go around.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

When did you have the lotus done?

Last May, I think? It's covering up Chaos, which I think is appropriate. Chaos did its job, and it needed to go away. Especially after 2005.

We're lower-back lotus twins!

Sweet!

I love R's (the artist) sense of line and style. He is amazing.

Punishingly Intricate

juliana, that is beyoootiful! And really makes me want to get a new one. My most recent one is almost 6 years old. Sheesh! I got that one done in SF, actually, at Sacred Rose Tattoo on Guerrero. By one very, very HOT!T tattoo artist.

Any good advice for a response if for some reason I am asked to pay? I hate confrontation.

"I was under the impression that the client should not be asked to pay for correcting the stylist's mistake. If that's the case, I would have gone elsewhere, and will do so in the future"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Love the tatoo! Popping out again because work is kicking my ass.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

My brother has 2 amazing lotuses (loti?) on his feet. One on each foot. The right is red and the left is blue. He said they hurt more than any other tat he's gotten, because the top of the foot doesn't have any fat padding. And then there's the part where he lives in Vermont, so he has to wear shoes and socks whenever he goes outside. Or to work. So they took longer to heal than they would have if they were anywhere else, but they're gorgeous.

I respect the hell out of his pain tolerance.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm back from the hairdressers. She didn't charge me, but I don't think I am pleased with the color, so I'm not sure I'll be going back there. We'll see how it looks in a couple days.
