Don't let the space bugs bite!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Does Percocet act as a blood thinner? I know ibuprofen or asprin do, but I do not know about the more intense drugs.

I don't think so. It's a completely different class of drug (opioid vs. NSAID).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

How can Matilda be talking aready? It seems like she was born only a couple months ago. Buffista babies grow up too fast.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

(opioid vs. NSAID).

That's what I'm thinking, but I don't want to make an error. I also don't want to be in the chair for 4 hours tonight without anything taking the edge off, so I'm checking out my options.

I'm pretty sure opioids don't do anything to blood. They affect pain receptors, whereas NSAIDS are anti-inflammatory and affect prostaglandins.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There will be pictures, right?

Herding cats for fun

the doctor forgot to take a picture at the first surgery and now doesn't know where the cancer is.

If I ever have to have a body part removed, I will use a permanent marker to tattoo the other side with "DO NOT CUT HERE" instructions.

And this guy gets the Big Professional Salary and no slap on the hand? The mind boggles. Sue and smite!

Mmmm. Stale, crunchy Cornbread with milk and some purple elderberry syrup. Now that's a yummy food combination.

For a second I thought this was in reference to juliana's dentistry.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

How can Matilda be talking already?

Just to clarify, I'm not actually an insane mother who thinks her 7-month-old infant is two diphthongs away from a career as a public speaker -- she's totally just babbling, and some of it accidentally comes out resembling words. Which of course we repeat back to her and praise and affirm and all that, but it's purely accidental. I'm not delusional about her or anything.

Mostly.

She does say "okay" an awful lot, though.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

juliana, P-C is right about percocet. It makes you chill out, but not bleed out.

And I just learned, in looking up info on percocet, that a generic (i.e., LESS EXPENSIVE) version of Ambien has just been approved by the FDA. Woot! Although the article doesn't say when it'll be available.
