Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It'll be loud and clunky. And are you allowed to take anything with metal into the machine? (I don't know, as I was always busy freaking out during my MRIs.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Any tips?
Valium if you are claustrophobic. Think of it as a great time for a nap if you aren't.

I need the brain bleach and giant swabs. My sister called to pester me about my travel plans - which, go me, I actually finalized this morning but I texted her to the wrong number, so she didn't get the message - and then went off on a tangent that ... there are just some things I don't want to know about my sister. Just? No.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I get to have my first MRI on Thursday. Any tips?

Ask 'em for a copy to take home to show off to friends and family....

So I can just listen to my Shuffle?

Your Shuffle would probably be murdered by the MRI. You're going to be inside a giant electromagnet. I'm not sure how they pipe in music, but I would not recommend you take the Shuffle.

not your mom's socks.

So I can just listen to my Shuffle?

I think your Shuffle would end up stuck to the MRI for permanent. And all the good songs would go away. Magnets.

added: almost as bad as flowering trees.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So I can just listen to my Shuffle? He said it would be only thirty minutes.

They provide the earphones because of the metal issues.

Punishingly Intricate

I get to have my first MRI on Thursday. Any tips?

I think I had one when I had vertigo last fall. I was incredibly high on the drugs they'd given me though and slept through/don't remember anything but waiting in the wheelchair afterwards to go back to my room.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Your Shuffle would probably be murdered by the MRI. You're going to be inside a giant electromagnet.

Oh. Right. Curses!

Thirty minutes of deep introspection time! Or, really, I'm sure I'll be ready for a nap.

Trust my rage

What does it say about me that 30 minutes in an MRI sounds blissful?

eta: except for the part that something would be wrong with me

What is even happening?

I know! Especially with that valium option.
