Yes. The decisions are really hard.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I don't believe my brother will help much, though. We never agree.
Word of advice? Try not to be an only child. The decisions are hard.
Amen!!!
Though, on the mom-front. Mine is doing pretty well these days, all things considered. She has more energy and has been getting out more. A good day sees her taking the psycho dog to the dog park. She still had days where she doesn't go much beyond her bed. But, overall, the highs and lows have leveled out compared to a few months ago. Shoot, even a month ago.
That's wonderful news, Suzi. It's good she's able to enjoy stuff.
That sounds great, Bev.
I love the idea of you getting a break - I'm a doof for not mentioning that before. Take it - you deserve it!!!!!
Bev, that sounds wonderful.
On the bus home last night, I saw a man who was A DEAD RINGER for John Winchester. Not the actor, but the character. I spent the rest of the bus ride wondering if we were going to be attacked by demons. Much more exciting than the usual commute home, let me tell you.
It amuses me in large part because the actor's from around here, by which I mean work-here, not home-here.
Hmph. My bus ride only ever gets the Brad Pitt lookalike.
Why isn't time going faster?!
Bev and Suzi, that is so awesome for your moms. I am glad that things are getting better and that both of you are getting some relief.
My siblings and I are very fotunate in that our parents already told us, "When it gets to be that time, call the nursing home. We don't want to live with you all." We'll see if it actually happens as I think my brother might be the one to balk if it actually comes up.
Oh, Bev and Suzi, that's wonderful news!
Am home from Harvard. Found out that last talk I did there caused someone to seek help. The teacher's exact words? "You're an inspiration to these students. They don't only learn from you; you change their lives."
Sniff. I change lives!
Someone point me back to this post when I'm all helpless and worthless feeling.
Also, teacher and supervising shrink? Want to see my book when it's done. They think they can help get it published. They loved the part I read to the class today.
Shit. It's been a good day. How'd that happen?
Go vw!
