This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I'm SO glad to hear that! You sounded so miserable last night!

Hey, I've seen that game and the players were pros. I'm sure it's frustrating, but I'm so glad there people willing to coach little league.

Trust my rage

Eyes itch but I can breathe right now.

Breathing is important. Sorry about the eyes, though. I'm starving and I only have my lunch to eat. Boo!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh Holy Crap! Yesterday, the thermostat in my office hit 96 before they sent us home (at 3:30pm). It is already at 86 right now. This is, I'm pretty sure, illegal like WHOA. I just want to cry.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Nora}}} That's crazy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nora, that's crazy!

Stephanie, I feels your pain. I have no milk. But I am running down to the corner market and, if they aren't open yet, the gas station for some. So only some of your pain. Poor people who get to see me unwashed and rumpled, but I needs coffee so I needs milk.

Meds have been ingested. If I can get through today with just some ability to breathe and something less than the sinus/migraine/ohgodwannadie headache, I am calling it a win. Or a draw. Just don't want to lose basically.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Egad, Nora. That's insane.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Cass, have you tried warm/hot compresses across your face (forehead, eyes, nose)? or standing in a hot shower and letting the water run over your face? I've found it helps with sinus headaches ... and sometimes it clears out your sinuses for a little while.

Oh, Nora. That is just ick. I'd be going insane.

My mom actually suggested Sunday that I put my air conditioners in. I'm trying to hold out, but I have SUCH an intolerance to heat, because of one of my meds. It makes me insane. I just think my landlord (who pays my electric bill) is gonna be cranky if I put the air conditioners in in April. Plus, it's supposed to get cooler again tomorrow, I think.

Librarian Warlord

Poor Nora. I know that OSHA doesn't have any specific regs about inside office temperatures, just recommendations. MA might have something. My old library had no air conditioning, so I sympathize with the brain boiling temps and the "they can't make me work like this" thoughts.

I forgot my coffee mug today and the communal mugs aren't big enough. I've already gone for one refill this morning.
