The girl's not playing with a full deck, Giles. She has almost no deck. She has a three.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh man, SA, those photos make me so homesick (for a place that's not my home, but English lacks a word for that).

I know! I feel that everytime I hear/see something cool about London. Not my home, but feels like it. Secondhomesick?

Thanks again for the well wishes, people. I'm about to shower and head back up to the hospital.

Screw her. People with disablilities shouldn't get an education? That's discrimination plain and simple.

Yes this. And frankly, if she tries to fail you for not attending class even just once, because of health issues, I'm betting she's in violation of ADA.

Is this the most awesome video ever, or what?

Cool video, but Karen looks downright scary.

I've actually decided to pursue it. We'll see what happens... I'm starting to get excited about the possibility

Cool! I think you'll be awesome.

I don't have a definitive place yet (my new employer is paying for corporate housing for a bit), but I have a few possibilities to look at when I get there. Which will be the 27th, after visiting Mal's grandpa for a few days.

The front-runner is a house called Druid Hill. The only problem is that I want to buy it, not rent it, and the owners, understandably, don't want to sell.

I'm not saying that she's not being a nazi, but all she is required to do is accomodate disabled students according to the guidelines provided by whatever university office has been designated to certify students as needing accomodation under ADA.

Really? Damn. So all she has to do under ADA is make sure sj can get into the room?

Feh.

Mostly lurking...

Pretty much.

I have found, though, that professors are usually pretty accomodating when push comes to shove. I have a prof this semester with a strict 3 absense policy. Because of my hospitalization, I missed A LOT more than that, and he continues to work with me. This prof sounds like a real piece of work, though.

Because books.

All kinds of ~ma for S, Sean, which I forgot to send yesterday. I hope she's doing much better today.

This is an online class, right, sj? Not that it matters, because hello, nice attitude, Professor Bitch, but maybe the guidelines are different for that, too?

Yay for Raq being Stateside soon!

Happy birthday (again), beth!

Yes, this.

sj, are there reviews of this professor that you can read on file somewhere? They might tell you whether this is a stance that she adopts the first week of classes for weeding purposes, and then lightens up.
