Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nap well, Hil.

What does the enamel coating do? I'm halfway talking myself into getting some, as I have no cast-iron anything right at the moment and miss it.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Happy Birthday Beth!

{{{S & Sean}}} This just sucks. I hope S recuperates quickly.

Feel better, Hil!

With all the serious health issues out there, I feel silly complaining about my upset stomach. But it's my vacation. Everything is supposed to be perfect. On the other hand, I napped in a bed with a sunny window, and don't have to do anything, and there was potentially great news today, so yeah!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ETA: Of course, after I bought it Mom told me she was going to get me one for my birthday.

You know, Le Creuset makes more than one pot. Your mom will just have to get a little creative. Make sure she knows the color to match.

Because books.

I got a piece of Le Creuset as a wedding gift, and I love it. It's a small saucepan with a lid that doubles as a small skillet, and the lid/skillet is perfect for omelets.

Not that I ever *make* the omelets, but Stephen tells me it rocks, and it's a very pretty blue.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Ok, well, I guess I've complained about work too much for a mini-squee to mean anything.

Off to Boise for more drama. I should pack the Fernet.

Yay, Suzi!

Boo, Sean!

Boo, Hil!

Boo, but yay, sj!

This post has been brought to you by the very yummy glass of wine I just had with dinner.

Sorry, Suzi, I rejoiced when I saw your swuee but apparently only in my head and not through my fingers to the keyboard.

I am distracted by trying to figure out how I can get over to sj's to trade pot-lifting services for chili without leaving the couch. It's a conundrum.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Crying is not helping the whole "breathe easily" thing.

Neither is my mother telling me, "You might have bronchitis! You need to go see a doctor!" If I still had a fever or I were getting worse, I'd go. But there's nothing that a doctor can do for "I'm stuffed up and breathing hurts and I'm coughing, and I used to have a fever but don't anymore, and I feel better than I did yesterday" other than tell me to drink lots of fluids and get some rest, and one thing that isn't rest is walking all the way to the doctor and back.
