Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I feel sorry for my next boyfriend. Poor man. I'll have to be extra nice to him to make up for the crazy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like to date people who go out of town a lot. Because then I can see them occasionally. When I want. If I want.

In conclusion, I can be meara's LD GF. We'll talk on the phone and never have sex. You can totally cheat on me with other women. It'll be very 60's WASP.

Erin, that sounds AWESOME. You can come to DC and visit me any time, baby!

She is actually going out of town tomorrow for most of the week, for work. Unfortunately, since I'm out of town so much, I only have but so much time IN town--and i want to see her, and my friends, and spend time sitting on my couch by myself...etc....

Hey. New board.

I like to date people. I like giving 95% of my free time to a girl, if she wants it. I'm a very accomodating boyfriend, when i'm a boyfriend.

14 months single. Sigh.

See, Gris, I think it freaks me out when someone HAS 95% of their time to give, because I don't--I mean, I do, if they're willing to just do whatever I'm going to do (go to drag shows, hang out with MY friends, etc, etc). But still.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm more at Erin's end of the spectrum. I need someone who's schedule doesn't totally match up with mine.

Hey. New board.

I'm very flexible.

I WOULD require time to see theater. That can be solved by dating a girl who also loves theater.

Yes, exactly. I wouldn't need so much time away from a girl/boyfriend if they liked the same things I do. And liked my friends. And I liked theirs.

What drains my energy is needy people. The more they need me to constantly reassure them that I still want them, the more exhausted I become with the effort of proving my love 24/7. Baby, if I didn't love you, your toothbrush would be in the trash, all right?

Because books.

I have the best of both with Stephen. He's always here to cuddle with (and, you know, for other things), and to talk to, and to make me tea, but he's a complete homebody, so I go out with girlfriends and to my writer's meetings, and he's fine with hanging out at home with the kids. I get outside socialization as well as him, and he gets, well, me, I guess.
