See, Gris, I think it freaks me out when someone HAS 95% of their time to give, because I don't--I mean, I do, if they're willing to just do whatever I'm going to do (go to drag shows, hang out with MY friends, etc, etc). But still.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm more at Erin's end of the spectrum. I need someone who's schedule doesn't totally match up with mine.
I'm very flexible.
I WOULD require time to see theater. That can be solved by dating a girl who also loves theater.
Yes, exactly. I wouldn't need so much time away from a girl/boyfriend if they liked the same things I do. And liked my friends. And I liked theirs.
What drains my energy is needy people. The more they need me to constantly reassure them that I still want them, the more exhausted I become with the effort of proving my love 24/7. Baby, if I didn't love you, your toothbrush would be in the trash, all right?
I have the best of both with Stephen. He's always here to cuddle with (and, you know, for other things), and to talk to, and to make me tea, but he's a complete homebody, so I go out with girlfriends and to my writer's meetings, and he's fine with hanging out at home with the kids. I get outside socialization as well as him, and he gets, well, me, I guess.
I like theater...
Ooooh. Guest bartending. However, I would seriously caution as I've only had to do it behind an actual bar in the event of high bartenders, bartenders who were visiting the facilities or getting limes. My motto is "Liquor Costs Be Damned!" and "I don't do girl drinks!"
I got to talk to my godson today! I haven't been around a lot with the meeting this weekend (found out our director in New Orleans is one of K and Beau's neighbors). We had ginormous thunderstorms and tornado warnings Friday, which made Mr. Jane freak out like a mammal and order me home from my work mingle dinner thingie. I stayed put, because dude would rather be in a sturdy resturaunt with cavelike areas than in my freaking car!!!
Today I was busy washing clothes and picking out things to pack. Sunday is problematic because while it's supposed to be 50 something in SF, it will be around 80 here, and I'm going straight to the crawfish boil.
Right now, Hec will be happy to know I'm watching Slings and Arrows right now.
My motto is "Liquor Costs Be Damned!" and "I don't do girl drinks!"
The bartender of my dreams.
Zenkitty, are you flirting with me?
Some theatrical person should totally snatch up Zenkitty!
Gris, have you seen Slings and Arrows? You need to. Zenkitty too.
We won our game today. We're 4-0. Emmett pitched two innings and struck out 5. He made a great play on a bloop over his head at shortstop, and a perfect tag when we nailed a base stealer. (But the catcher, Liam, made an even cooler play as the passed ball came back hard off the backstop and he barehanded it whirled and threw to shoot down the runner.) We only had 10 players today but everybody contributed. They're having smart at bats. Jordan finally broke out with a huge double, and then nailed it down pitching a perfect last inning.
Thursday we face the Twins - the other undefeated team. We intend to crush their spirit and break their will.
::makes GRRR Face::
At least that's what I told Arlo, their stud 10 y.o. player. (and a close friend of Emmett's from the tournament team) He snickered at me.
Emmett's best friend Jack hit a MONSTROUS home run against us today Three runs in one blow. But we came back, tied it up and then took the lead. Sweet victory!
