I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope I don't have to do anything complicated to download that soup. I don't think I'm up for it.

Are you on wireless?

Just was talking to my mom and we were laughing that while I might kvetch about having to fly down to San Diego in a couple of weeks for a surprise party for my dad and stepmom's 25th anniversary? Dude, this is my dad and 25 years and that's maybe a little bit of a miracle so hop on a plane. She's got a sense of humor about him, at least.

Also she wanted updates on lots of Buffistas and several sproglings. Cool mom, that mom of mine.

I'm getting the pig!

Lots of cutehead toddlers! Yay!

Poor you, Ginger. You just barely got over your last cold.

Coffee good.

Yes. I'll second that. Some days the only reason I go to work in the morning is because there's a Starbucks drive-thru on the way.

Weekends I just replace "go to work in the morning" with "get out of bed in the morning" and "on the way" with "down the street".

Timelies!

I stayed home from the last day of the tournament to do homework. Which I haven't started (I'm so in trouble). It is POURING rain here, but so far the wet hasn't made it to Livermore yet.

I have no meara. Again, I'm in trouble.

Babies are adorable and buffistas are MADE OF AWESOME.

I'm off to Boise again next week. No one has moved there without telling me....right? Anyone wanna meet me there for a couple of days? Cause Boise is so.....ok, fine, I can't even fake that it is exciting without buffista there.

juliana - I did see your note to me. No shutting it - after the way work has been for me, I'd be joining you.

You've left the house?

I am trying to get the cats to evolve thumbs so they can fetch me another cup.

Well, not Puppycat cause we've played a few rousing rounds of Cass tosses the pen, Puppycat races after it, touches it and then trots back waiting for me to do it all again. Seriously. She thinks I can animate (reanimate?) pens. No thumbs for her.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cass, you really did look absolutely gorgeous all gothed up.

Bother. It's raining which means our game today will probably be canceled and tomorrow's game is in jeopardy. Which I wouldn't mind so much except we've been on a two week hiatus over the staggered spring breaks of Albany and Berkeley so I'm itching to get them back out on the field.

Matilda's on the playmat, watching the flashing lights and grabbbing the rings and playing with her feet. No wait, Emmett decided she could have more fun playing with him. Now she's in his lap.

She's wearing a purple jumper/dress.

This prompted JZ to enter with her announcing in a stentorian voice...

"Prepare Yourself!
Expect the worst!
The purplest baby
In the Universe!"

Suz!! I almost wish I were going to Boise just to hang out with you. Why aren't your BossPeople in Denver? Why?!?

You've left the house?

I did! I woke up, pulled on some mismatched clothes, attempted to remove some of the make-up that had smeared beneath my eyes during my (much too short) slumber, brushed teeth, put on a hat, and wandered down the street for caffeine.

But that was earlier, and I've just finished my last sip of coffee, so I think I shall have to actually shower and venture back out of the house for groceries and MORE coffee.

Thank you. It was so much fun being a Jilli doll.

Do purple baby toes taste grape-y?

Whoa. That's some good ambition for a Saturday morning.
