Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fondue sounds yummy. I'm glad you had a good time and that the school stuff got cleared up, vw.

Thanks, Laura.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That's some pretty hard-core geekery there, Daniel. You done good.

Hey. New board.

The equation is 3x+2y-z=44, with x=2

It's for a discussion question and that was an equation made up by a classmate. Instead of trying to figure out how to graph it, I just took it over and solved it for her since she got stuck after figuring out y. I'm really quite proud of myself for doing it, too!

x=2, y=19.513, z=1.027

Well, since you gave us one of the values (x=2), you can graph this in two dimensions by substituting and then renaming variables. By which I mean:

3x + 2y - z = 44
3(2) + 2y - z = 44
6 + 2y - z = 44
2y - z = 38

Now you only have two variables (y and z) so you can change the names (I'd do y->x and x->y) and get

2x - y = 38 OR
y = 2x - 38

I am a little confused on where you got your solution, since there are actual an infinite number of possible solutions. x = 2, y = 20, z = 2 being one with nice whole numbers. I'm thinking there's probably some information I didn't get?

I saw the Les Miz "revival" tonight. It doesn't have the magic it used to have for me, even though these were probably the best performers I've ever seen. Sad.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Goodness, she's adorable Plei. I love the ones with the daisy.

Hey, I finally uploaded some pics to Flickr. I know, I know, I should have done it eons ago, but I am so lazy about new software. And even lazier about iPhoto.

Dear lord, he's so BLOND!

And they're both gorgeous.

Paul just uploaded some shots from earlier today, too. Two. Man. Weird.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Good lord, those are some beautiful children.

Lillian has such an expressive face. I sense some deviousness about her. I can't believe she's already two.

Burrell, I don't think I've ever since pics of Frannie and Isaac. They both look so very happy and content. I know it's not the case 100% of the time, but they look like they actually *like* each other.

Buffista babies are the best.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Those are some damn cute kids. Man, Isaac's supposed to be a baby.

He's very blond!
