Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Color Me Badd's "All 4 Love". It's really hard to be so cranky when you're laughing that hard, especially after you go and find the video. Oh, the shirts! The pants! Hee!

now watch "D*** In a Box", now it's even funnier.

Our wings are not tired.

I want to go somewhere else this weekend. Brendon had a decent report card end of last session, ABBBCCC. So I made a big deal of giving him back his cell phone and computer, because C is for cell and computer. Nothing less than C allowed. First reports of new session with 2 teachers reporting - both Fs. Same old shit. A on tests and quizes and big fat 0 on homework. See Laura bang head on desk. I have already removed the cell and computer and placed them safely in my office, but now I will have a miserable teen all weekend. This sucks. And I was going to go to the Heat game with DH tonight, but now I have to send Bobby because I will need to stay home and be grounded too. Parenting sucks.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Laura, I so sorry.

I'm in a bit of a teens-can-disappoint funk right now myself. I just finished quarter grades and 1/3 of all my students are failing. Why? Because they don't do their homework. Even when I give them in-class time to work on it.

But, I'm just their teacher and not their parent. I don't have to take away priviledges. All I can do is wheedle, cajole, and fail.

Punishingly Intricate

Dude! So. Jealous. I *love* her!!!

She is, unsurprisingly, HILARIOUS in real life too. Also, very nice! Did you see her blog from when she was living in Argentina this winter with her boyfriend?

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Happy Birthday Tickybox! And Happy Birth Day to Plei.

Those twins have such the pinchable cheeks!

Now I have to get back to doing my taxes. Boo.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bleh. Went to school, tutored a student (very badly -- my brain wasn't quite working right), went grocery shopping, came home, felt miserable. Took my temperature, and I've got a fever. Coughing up yellowish guck . To the doctor tomorrow, I think.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Hil. I hope a bit of rest and soup helps.

The status is NOT quo.

HAPPY TICKYBOX BIRTHDAY! Also, did I read right? Is Sox's little Iris also having a birthday today? If so, Happy Birthday, Baby Sox!

Laura, I'm so sorry. How incredibly frustrating. Hil, feel better!
