Oh dear, Hil. I hope a bit of rest and soup helps.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Lillybean Tickybox Day!!!
HAPPY TICKYBOX BIRTHDAY! Also, did I read right? Is Sox's little Iris also having a birthday today? If so, Happy Birthday, Baby Sox!
Laura, I'm so sorry. How incredibly frustrating. Hil, feel better!
nope - she's just *slept in*!
what are the buffista babies planning...
no idea - but I hope it will kick ass.
Kristin, did you get number$ for your 5th class today?
Sox, how did your DH's interview go?
too soon to tell - and there are a couple more on the way. Which is good because today I have to mail the IRS an irrational, unwarranted, enormous, horrible, no-good, very bad check thanks to a mis-com on DH's postdoc grant. SO, a real job would be fabu.
Still, one interview in B-more, another in PA, and a couple more in DC/VA all in a couple of weeks. This could get really tricky, really fast. Don't shout 'VA!' too loud, coz - I like my Bawlimore Hon's a bunch.
Cool. Although I'm just a Homicide and Wire fan. Oh, and John Waters. I'm sad he is not my freaky uncle or something, even though I ultimately chickened out on "Pink Flamingos"
don't forget 12 Monkeys, Liberty Heights and Diner (filmed just around the corner) and Tin Men - and the first 5 minutes of Sleepless in Seattle (ditto). And Duff, from Ace of Cakes. And Menken, of course. And Dorothy Parker - just because.
[added:] - see? I'm pining already.
Hil, get better soon.
In mememe news - I'm good at being a hardass. I'm good at saying, "No, I need this now, you had the time, now give me the info." Doesn't mean I like doing it, and it really doesn't mean that I want to do it every bloody week. Gah.
I think it may already be shot time (Suzi, SHUT IT).
Yeah, I'm an asshole...I forgot Mr. Levinson. I suck. Like K-Mart(Rain man shout-out) "Diner" in particular was very good, of course.Of course most people around here are bored with that already. Probably. It's a thing, as Joss says. It was a great compliment to me that people used to read my fanfiction and ask where in Baltimore I was from. Now they know my "hon" is faux, but I could've kept it up for a bit, if I were a better liar.
