Well, the excellences do outweigh the nipple-biting, mostly.
I still can't believe that two years ago she didn't exist, a year ago there was just a possible person, and now there's a full entire human, all known and mysterious, made out of sex and a handful of cells. Humans are so improbable, really.
Humans are so improbable, really.
JZ is always wise. At times like this, also awesomely and bee-you-tee-fully wise.
Owen laughed when I yelped at his first bite. Olivia didn't get that far.
Once bitten....
JZ, I still have a package for you guys. I just need to get my ass to post it.
She prefers the bottle -- more agency, more to see, the whole sitting-up business. At least the biting is making me a lot more ready to let go of bf'ing than I was a week ago. Then, I was all misty and teary; now, this could be the last time ever and that'd be swell.

Seriously. It was more painful than most of childbirth, I shit you not.
And now she's drooping in my arms looking all woeful and petting my hands and my face, and I'm such a stupid sap I have to consciously restrain myself from offering her the boob again.

Oh, mine too.
Well, there's your answer then.
Seriously though, it sounds like you both might be ready to move on so, maybe it's just time.
Humans are so improbable, really.
Really.
my tax difference is well into 4 figures, P-C, which is why I feel the need to check it manually.
I got my tax refund a few days ago. My father prepared the tax forms (when I first got this job, I didn't know what my DC address would be, so I put my parents' address, and so all my tax stuff is sent there because I never bothered to change it, and he just opens it and puts all the info onto the form without me asking. I just check it over and sign it. Works out pretty well.) Anyway, I just about immediately used it to register for a sign language course this summer. Figure it's as good a use as any.
Daisy, JZ just said to me "You know what it's going to be like when Daisy's here? Lots of laughing."
Aww. Thanks for the smile. I hope so! I'd hate to disappoint!
I didn't realize how much I'd been talking up this trip. Mom called today and was asking me if I was ready. San Francisco is her second favorite city on the planet. She usually gets up there about once a year or so. It's one of the few places she'll accompany my step-father to on his conference/business trips (he runs the public transportation co. back home, so SF is often a destination). She was adorkable telling me everything I should see.
ETA: I get to change my tag in about 45 minutes! Squeeeeeeeeee!
