After we were both too tired to go to Yizkor in the morning, so, had a pretty good-sized portion of guilt with that. But it's a fairly usual level of guilt, nothing extraordinary.

Huh. Even though my mom ostensibly, while talking to me, doesn't seem to support my running the marathon and doesn't see the point in doing it, she forwarded the link to everyone. My cousin made a donation. My own parents haven't donated, but he has.

Well, I got good news and bad news on the tax front. Looks like I owe $713 to California. WTF, California? You look all warm and sunny, but your tax code is from the dark side! Good news for IRS, though...$1614 refund thanks to the huge tax credit from the Prius. YAY PRIUS! So I'm coming out ahead overall. Credit card payment, ahoy! I hope the IRS is quick about that refund, though. Finding an extra $713 is not as easy as it may sound.
