Fred: Oh my God! Angel, you're…cute! Angel: Fred, don't! Fred: Oh, but the little hands! And the hair! Angel: Hey! You're fired.

'Smile Time'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Well, I got good news and bad news on the tax front. Looks like I owe $713 to California. WTF, California? You look all warm and sunny, but your tax code is from the dark side! Good news for IRS, though...$1614 refund thanks to the huge tax credit from the Prius. YAY PRIUS! So I'm coming out ahead overall. Credit card payment, ahoy! I hope the IRS is quick about that refund, though. Finding an extra $713 is not as easy as it may sound.

Cindy, backflung.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Raq, glad it was just a spider bite ... although it sounds like it might be one with a Zorro fixation.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

While this may be better suited for the music thread, I don't even know this song at all. It's the article that's hilarious:

A graphical dissertation on the number one song in America.

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, JZ, it's interesting. Feeling a bit like Sedaris learning French at the moment...both guys are good writers, though, so that helps. You'll know if I get stuck if you find me in a corner one day muttering "Damn you, Olbermann. Damn you." Cause fandom trope or not, the man is still 6'4''...there's no "wee Olbermann". Of course learning bunches about the *Sox* would not impress him much. Until he knows that it's his own passion that would inspire me to go beyond "Fire bad. Camden Yards, pretty." That might work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought "hot like wasabi" was the Barenaked Ladies. Have I been living a lie?

No, -t. A comment points out that the Better Than Ezra song is making reference to the BNL song.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Red Sox opening game is on right now, erika. Just in case you're interested.

What? You don't think being an artist with a disability is enough disappointment that you want to make me Sox fan, too? (Of course, without the curse, who knows?) But, as in any language, invective comes first, right? And suddenly moods improve all over Secaucus and nobody knows why.
