Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Mmm, brownies.

I'm watching The Sound of Music. I think the last time I watched this was when I was about 10. "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" was much coyer than I remembered. Just about everything else is way cheesier than I remembered. But still fun.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Brownies - yum!

I just finished doing a Cupcake mask (LUSH). I'm back in a LUSH phase, in case you couldn't tell. The Cupcake mask looks nasty, like dark brown mud, but it smells really good. Now we are going to watch some Prison Break. I love weekends!

Hil, we are watching it here too. We had been watching Eragon, but DH went to the store and asked us to pause the movie while he is gone. I had been ignoring Eragon, but am transfixed by Sound of Music. How do you solve a problem....

Thrive to spite them

I made brownies too! Dad came over and we watched Tampa blow their chance for #6 seed in the playoffs, after blowing their shot for #3 last night.

I'm trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow for church, considering it's supposed to be 33F tomorrow morning. It's Flordia! it's not supposed to be that cold in April! So instead of spring colors I'll be wearing black because that's what I have that's warm and clean. My original plan for today included some yard work, until I poked my head out this morning and was met with a sunny, windy, cold morning and decided to stay in my pjs for most of the day.

I know! I bought this great spring-y dress for easter, but they're saying that there might be snow. Maybe I can wear boots.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have spent the day - my first Saturday NOT at work in yonks - being horrid, dirty, lazy people. Seriously, we've watched almost all of Sports Night. I really miss this show.

None of us have bathed, but we did brush our teeth cause to not is just ewwww.

Talked to my mom for a bit and she sounds really good. She hasn't taken any Ativan in about a week and is returning to work on Tuesday. I told her that I was very proud of her and that I loved her.

Joe and Em just ran to get us burgers for dinner and I foresee a lot more lazing about. Should we have started packing since our boxes arrived? Yes. Should we have cleaned the house a bit? Yes. Did we? No. Do I feel bad about that? I might later on. Right now, Dan! Casey! (Personally, I think Dana ends up with Quo Vadimus guy.)

So yeah. Yay Saturday.

Your Saturday of lovely, slothful (and Sports Night!) family time makes me incredibly happy to read.

I think I have come to the conclusion that, while I feel bad that leaving my house in San Diego deprived the kitties of their access to a wee screened in porch so that they could have fresh air and watch birdies and critters and not be such housebound indoor cats, giving them a fireplace to flops in front of is good too. Also trees with squirrels in them.

We're at 38 tonight, and supposed to be 48 tomorrow. [link] Granted, there's an 80% chance of rain, but the most I will concede is tights. I'm wearing my Easter dress if it kills me. Although, I wore it for Easter Vigil tonight, and it didn't kill me then, so I think the odds of death are fairly low.
