Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Isn't orange sports, or is that entertainment?

I think I'm pulling an all-nighter so I can go for an early-morning swim at 6:00 am, and then come home to go to bed.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Orange! Yes, Sports.

We both sucked at that (no racing, or I would rule) so we just usually answered, "Babe Ruth." It was, occasionally, the right answer. Not a lot, but sometimes.

We're are at the beach. Mom is trying very hard to overfeed us. I think Dave has said, ''no thank you'' at least half a dozen times already today.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I haven't looked outside yet today. Is it safe?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It seem safe here - foggy, but that is northern california mornings. So,are there ever smooth running house projects? I think more sleep would be good, but we had a power blink and the sound of electronics awakening woke me up

Our wings are not tired.

Wow, slow morning. It is glorious outside today so we are doing outside chores. Sorry to the people above us, but we loves the cold front. 70F at this time of day is great for weeding.

Random proud mom moment: Brendon walks through and notes that it is 1:23 and declares that the only cooler time is 12:34. Yay for mathiness!

Off to buy mulch. Yay for big trucks.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Speaking of trivia, does anyone remember someone on the board not knowing that Sting had been in a band? (A certain buffista insists that I was once, on the board, stunned to learn this information. I say it wasn't me. Anybody remember this?)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ahhh, the smell of banana bread baking is much nicer than the vinegar air. Though, the resulting chutney (apple, plum, tomato) was quite delicious. I love it when Tom takes time off from work, it often means yumminess, either food or beer.

Also, Happy Repeal of Prohibition Day! (April 7, 1933) Quaff a delicious American brew, won't ya?

The end of the annotated bibliography is finally in sight.

Yay, Nora! I hope you're done with the bibliography. The chutneys so delicious!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Vince Ventresca is on some silly movie of SciFi. I love Vince. I've had a major crush on him since I-Man, and it hasn't waned in the slightest.

Just thought you'd all like to know.
