I haven't looked outside yet today. Is it safe?
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It seem safe here - foggy, but that is northern california mornings. So,are there ever smooth running house projects? I think more sleep would be good, but we had a power blink and the sound of electronics awakening woke me up
Wow, slow morning. It is glorious outside today so we are doing outside chores. Sorry to the people above us, but we loves the cold front. 70F at this time of day is great for weeding.
Random proud mom moment: Brendon walks through and notes that it is 1:23 and declares that the only cooler time is 12:34. Yay for mathiness!
Off to buy mulch. Yay for big trucks.
Speaking of trivia, does anyone remember someone on the board not knowing that Sting had been in a band? (A certain buffista insists that I was once, on the board, stunned to learn this information. I say it wasn't me. Anybody remember this?)
Ahhh, the smell of banana bread baking is much nicer than the vinegar air. Though, the resulting chutney (apple, plum, tomato) was quite delicious. I love it when Tom takes time off from work, it often means yumminess, either food or beer.
Also, Happy Repeal of Prohibition Day! (April 7, 1933) Quaff a delicious American brew, won't ya?
The end of the annotated bibliography is finally in sight.
Yay, Nora! I hope you're done with the bibliography. The chutneys so delicious!
Vince Ventresca is on some silly movie of SciFi. I love Vince. I've had a major crush on him since I-Man, and it hasn't waned in the slightest.
Just thought you'd all like to know.
I vaguely remember something like that, Hil, but I have no idea who it was. Scrapeing the tub with a razor blade today ( we are take off the old epoxy paint) . What is it about doing work around the house that makes me crave junk food. Yesterday it was Mcdonalds, today it is bugles.
I have Release the Scola into the Wild!
::cries::
LA, you're next!
Gronk. Lillian TOTALLY conked out in the car. Now she's all naptastic. Whee!
I have the beginnings of vegetable soup on the stove, matzo ball dough in the fridge, and klezmer on the stereo. (Well, klezmer/bluegrass fusion.) I feel like my grandmother would be proud. (Well, my grandmother on one side. My grandmother on the other side would want to know why I'm listening to that "peasant" music and why I'm cooking and listening to music on Shabbat, anyway. Though she would be proud of the food, since it's mostly made the way she made it.)
