Matilda was all asleep by the time I arrived.
I made JZ a tuna melt and gave her a root beer and she's watching What Not to Wear and I have promised to take the next two feedings.
Also, Emily's hair looks very nice in pretty ringlets around her face.
Matt has fixed the shower. now he gets to finish up the tub standing ... we have a shower, so now it feels ok to say the project can finish tomorrow - because we have a home shower
We are home from Dinner With Scola. Which followed Scola in the Park!

Golden Ochre.
Which, hey: lively, verbal, tenacious. But also? Shit brown.
Looks warily at Mount Rainier
And you said *I* was disturbing when I mentioned the
pink elephant volcano
in the room on the edge of town?
Today both mountains were out! Mt. Hood, which is not unusual but we've got a lot of rain and weather, yo. And Mt. St. Helens which, wow!

Cass, do you get the Science Channel? There's a great miniseries documentary on geology that they show occasionally called "Hot Rocks," and it's hosted by this awesomely gorgeous, charming young Scottish geologist named Iain Stewart who's very geekily enthusiastic about his subject. The miniseries deals specifically with Mediterranean geology and how it affected history and culture there.
I *love* that series. And Iain. The series is just fabulous, really.
The Science channel and Discovery Times are my true loves. Oh, I've a weakness for History International. Maybe the occasional fling with the National Geographic channel.
I wonder if "Hot Rocks" is showing again any time soon...
3 out of 4 classes graded!! Can I get a whoop? I am a grading machine today, but I don't think I have it in me to do the last class.
I'm butterscotch. Which is funny because that was my favorite flavor when I was a small child.
This apparently means I'm a leader, and goal oriented.
These people have obviously met me.
I'm awake. Waiting up. For K-Bug and her new extended curfew. So tired. Must do the mom thing. CJ is up too, not sure why, but no inclined to send him to bed either.
