I am home, have been since 3pm. I did not make it through my second full day of work, although I came close. We were going to a seder at friends' tonight, but i just felt too tired and sore to go. The DH is there and enjoying himself I hope. I have been sitting on the couch without moving for several hours which I think is just what the doctor ordered. Now to have a delicious bowl of cereal for dinner!

Sorry P-C. Not Indian or available. DH's college roommate went through a similar situation to yours. Huge pressure from his family. For a few years they flew him all over to meet potentials and all. Usually the potentials were as annoyed by the process as he was so it was all good. He's 40 something now and married at long last. He did it on his own timetable.

A Roth is a great idea for you, P-C. You really don't have to know how to invest. Just get a no-load (no-fee) index fund [link] which buys a wide range of stocks, such as the S&P 500, S&P 1000 or the whole market. Index funds have traditionally performed as well or better as managed funds, and you don't pay a fee for management. The two big names in no-load funds are Vanguard and T. Rowe Price.
