[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Poor Teddy. I hope it's something easily treatable.

I am being eaten alive by pollen.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Aww. RIP monkey toes!

So very tired. How is everyone else today?

I think I am actually awake and possibly even perky, but my eyes hurt from wearing my contacts too long yesterday and that gives me the illusion of being tired.

Ann, that's a ferret.

A little better, actually. Long afternoon naps on Friday and Saturday helped.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

whoo, PC!

I'm tired (couldn't get to sleep last night and kept waking up), still sorta sick (despite my trying to get rest last week) but slightly perked up due to finding out I got a 3.5% raise. Which may not sound like a lot, but for academic support staff, um, it is. Usually the ceiling for that is 4% for super total rock star amazing god-level work and a championing and respected manager. 3.5 is high on the just normal being awesome scale.

Awesome, Nora! That's really great. I got a measly 1% raise since I'd only officially been an employee for one quarter. Which is understandable but annoying anyway, since my evaluation was so glowing.
