I'm with ita. I can't even think about putting those on.
Are you going to cut the brownies into 13 squares, Jen?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It is quite the odd sensation, toe socks.
I had a mug of (really good) hot cocoa I got from a student for Christmas.
Mine is an exciting life

I have a feeling that if I weren't such a skimmer, I might have a quippy answer for this...
In today's paper:
"$1.60 6-pack annuals" next to "$10.88 18-pack Annuals. Buy in bulk for best value." There seems to be a math failure here.
Hil had a brownie mix once that claimed to make 13 servings. We spent a good bit of an afternoon - well, the mathier among us did - attempting in vain to find any possible way to do that.
I had toe socks once. I think I might have worn them twice. They just felt...wrong.
If you wear toe socks, do you get more or less toejam?

Ha! And also, I'm unsurprised that this occupied an afternoon of posting. I heart this place.
I remember the striped toe socks from the 70s. I think my sister owned some. I don't think I could deal with the feeling. My toes should touch, man.

It was 11 servings. And the directions said to make it in an 8x8 pan and cut into two-inch brownies. (I don't know why I remember all this.)
It's always seems to me that the size of a "serving" of food is completely arbitrary (like they picked it by casting runes or something) - it never seems to be something you could factor evenly into the total size of the product.
