Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That sounds like a crazy weekend, P-C. Hope you can pull it off.
I got a navy eyeliner pencil, too, I want to try more exotic colors, but I need to work up to it slowly. With the liquid, I ended up taking off the excess on the lower lid with a q-tip, and it looked pretty good. Mascara, I haven't mastered mascara. It ends up on my contact lenses pretty often. I'm not sure how.
Liquid gold eyeliner! I want some! It would look hundreds of times better on Vortex, though. I love colored eyeliner.
It's getting SO hard to find now!
So I am resigned to probably having to use my gold mineral makeup eyeshadow as liner. (I have a really nice gold from Pure Luxe that should liner well enough. I'm lazy, and have always been able to get a good line just applying it with a damp brush. But still, phooey. Looked all over the Sephora site, and damn, the color selection in the gold range is crap this year.)
Birthday happies, libkitty!
I'm gonna go to bed now. I've taken 5 ibu and 2 tylenol. Maybe it'll help. That or kill me quickly.
Sleep well, Andi. I hope tomorrow is better.
I'm all packed up and ready to go to the keys for the weekend. Cousins are camping. I'm going to sleep on the boat with DH. It will be really really tight because the boat has an itty bitty cabin, but still sleeping on the boat! I like the rocking thing. Bobby will be in some tent with his cousins.
So now for 4 hours sleep before we head south. Whee! I'm looking forward to it. This is about the end of being able to go camping. Lows are going to be around 70. I anticipate sunburn. Yes, I did bring sunscreen. I also anticipate being in some bar watching March Madness stuff. Again I say Whee!
Not quite roughing it. Campground has wireless and pool and all that good stuff. So I'll be posting from the boat for the first time! Whee!
The excitement might actually be a bit of delirium. So tired.
This has been one of the best birthdays ever. Things went wrong here and there, but I just didn't care, and I'm not really sure why, but I don't really care about that either.
All day, I had wonderful birthday wishes here and from other friends. I rushed to a meeting between work and my birthday dinner, and everyone sang happy birthday, which was just the beginning of the blushes. At the birthday dinner, way more people came than I had expected (well, they RSVPed so I could make reservations, but way more people RSVPed). The food was fantabulous and I tried a new and interesting drink, which I probably won't ever get again but it was really pretty. Some of the cards were humorous and some not, but all were really thoughtful and clearly gotten with me in mind. I figure I was at the restaurant about 3.5 hours, talking and laughing and soaking up the company. I'm so happy. I think that the last birthday that was this good was probably when I turned 11 or 12.
I think I must have bogarted all the ~ma in the world, and I hereby send it out to all those in need, together with liberal doses of glitter and chocolate!
I am hella late now but many, many, many happy birthdays, libkitty!
I loved meeting you and now think you need to come back to Portland post hasty, pudding-like.
Late. Bed. Yes.
Libkitty, I'm glad you had such a nice birthday.
Hugs and -ma to all the Bitches who need them.
I'm insomnia girl tonight. I was keeping TCG awake with my tossing and turning, so now I'm up.
Hope you can get some sleep, sj. Or that the other coast wakes up soon to play with you.
Thanks, Cass. I think I'm going to count the sleep I had as sufficient. I hope you sleep well.
