Ginger, have you heard any more news on your mom?
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
She's still not doing great. The process of trying to get the fluid down seems to have made her blood chemistry wonky, and they're trying to get the sodium and potassium levels up. In the process, she's acquired an intestinal blockage. She had a CT scan for that late yesterday, but they don't have the results yet. They're restricting her fluids, she has a tube down her nose and a catheter. I don't don't think medical science can make anyone more miserable. Right now, I'm planning to go up towards the end of the week.
Oh, your poor mom. I'm sorry she's got it so rough.
{{{Ginger}}} Continued ~ma to your mom. I hope the doctors get everything figured out quickly.
That's rotten, Ginger. Here's more ~ma for you and her.
Man, I hope all that unpleasantness helps her in the long run, Ginger. And I hope your work and deck and everything smooths out for you this week so you can leave without worrying about that stuff.
I'd leave in a heartbeat if my mother or sister said I should be there, but the both say wait. The whole thing is making me very twitchy.
As well it might. Not rushing to the side of a sick loved one feels wrong, even when it's the right way to go. Leaving later makes rational sense, but the twitchiness doesn't care about rational.
so sorry , ginger
I am confused. We started a fire in hte outside fire pit. In the summer , by this time I need a sweater. I am still in a tee shirt now. I am very confused
One final project (the paper) turned in!
