Um, I was gonna say something. Don't remember what. Then there was stuff about cat tv. My cats have bunnies, squirrels and birds alla time in the cat tv. By way of real tv, Sammie actively watches Eureka and sometimes SG-1. Harvey just snuggles whichever one of us is warmest while we are in front of the tv, though, I think I caught him watching some of the Dresden Files the other week.

I put Emmett to bed tonight and ten minutes later he was calling out for me. I went in there and he was crying. He'd gotten in trouble for something at school and was afraid to tell me and he felt like he was going to throw up all day. Poor little poot. It really was minor mischief - but I had just given him the lecture on Peer Pressure and so he knew he shouldn't've.

It was nice to be the good cop for a change though. I'd really dropped the hammer on him for the whole handcuffs incident.

Earlier this evening EM had called me in tears. She'd heard from mutual friends that the college aged daughter of her psycho ex (who she helped raise for the last six years) had tried to commit suicide. Oy. She'll be okay but it's distressing thinking about her turning to her dad. Actually she broke away from her dad years ago because he was...well...psycho.
